Microsoft Live Meeting crashes when sharing Windows 7 VM

I run a windows server 2003 VM and a windows 7 vm using VMWare. My host is Windows 7. When sharing out my desktop/host (with no VM running) windows live meeting runs fine. When sharing out my desktop with Windows 2003 VM running, windows live meeting runs fine. When sharing out my desktop with Windows 7 using Microsoft Live Meeting, Live Meeting was crashing at random after a minute or two.

Looking in my host event log, I found this error:

It turns out the problem is that Live Meeting is incompatible with certain windows 7 color schemes. It will automatically change the color scheme of your host but can not do so for your VM. Once I changed the theme of my Windows 7 VM to windows XP classic, Live Meeting no longer crashes. Im sure other themes will work as well, as long as it uses a basic color scheme.

Let me know if this helped you by posting in the comments. I couldnt find someplace to simply post a solution (rather then a question/problem, as I didnt find this solution by searching google) so if you know some place to do that, let me know as well. Otherwise, I will continue to blog things like this if at least one person tells me they found it helpful!
